DAx has all the features that are needed for chromatographic applications in
general, such as the ability to measure sequences of measurements, recognise and
quantify components, and compare measurements.
It also contains a number of features geared specifically towards Capillary Electrophoresis:
Apparent and Effective mobility calculations
Data can be plotted with a mobility axis instead of a time axis.
When the mouse cursor is tracked over a graph, the mobility at the cursor's coordinate
is displayed.
Components can be identified by their mobility.
Components can also be identified by the begin or end coordinate of their peaks, rather
than the peak top.
Normalised (corrected) peak areas
Time corrected peak areas can be calculated. Components can be quantified
using the corrected peak area.
Reference peaks mark EOF
A mobility value for the reference peak can be entered so that the electro-osmotic flow (EOF)
can be calculated.
In close cooperation with Prince Technologies, a special version of DAx has been
developed that controls all models of the PrinCE Capillary Electrophoresis system.
Reads ABI Genescan and Amersham MegaBACE files
In cooperation with Biofrontera Pharmaceuticals the
ability to read ABI Genescan and Amersham MegaBACE files has been added to DAx. Extensive
further analysis options, such as deriving a DNA Base Pair calibration, have also
been added. Click here to read what Biofrontera
has to say about DAx.
